Brittany brings diverse operational and investing experience to West Sands Partners, and is currently CEO of a multi-site fertility clinic and agency group.

She attended the University of St. Andrews in Scotland for her undergraduate degree, where her studies focused on counter-terrorism. Her experience in this field includes working with the Republic of Georgia to address European security issues.

When Miles & Brittany returned to the United States, Brittany joined Lightspeed Venture Partners, a top-tier venture capital firm. Brittany then attended Stanford University's Graduate School of Business for her MBA.

After business school Brittany joined SquareTrade, a consumer electronics warranty provider in San Francisco. While at SquareTrade, Brittany owned the end-to-end customer strategy & operations for its 20+ million customers, helping to prepare the company for its exit (acquired by AllState for $1.4B in 2016).

Miles is currently President of a multi-site fertility clinic and agency group.

He began his career helping people through the advancement of healthcare finding new solutions to old problems. He has a degree in Neuroscience from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. During his studies he focused on brain-machine interface technologies in an effort to help veterans and others suffering from amputation or spinal cord injury. It was at St. Andrews that he met his future wife and business partner, Brittany.

While in California, Miles combined his passions for entrepreneurship and healthcare by working with several health-technology and medical device companies including One Medical Group and HealthTap. Miles then attended Stanford's Graduate School of Business for his MBA.

Miles was also Co-Founder and COO of the software company, Swift Calcs. Together with a Stanford PhD and an MIT dual Computer Science / MBA grad, he pioneered a cloud-based computational software tool to change how engineers and scientists do math. This software is now used in MIT mechanical engineering classes and has partnered with public corporations such as Autodesk.
